I have been fighting cancer my whole career, whether being an oncology nurse on the front lines or working with oncology pharmaceutical companies to find treatments. It became personal for me in 2023 when a friend of mine, Lara Fletcher, was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. She showed all of us what strength, faith, courage, and grace was during her journey. She passed away on July 4, 2025, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, courage, and community. Colon cancer is the second deadliest cancer, but the Colon Cancer Coalition is working to educate Americans about screening and healthy life style practices, to change that statistic! Mama Fletch’s Flock was created in honor of Lara and to raise awareness! Please consider donating to Mama Fletch’s Flock. Your support brings us one step closer to a future where fewer families and friends have to say goodbye too soon! Thank you and Flock Colon Cancer!
