Welcome Flock!
Thank you for supporting Mama Fletch’s Flock as we continue to come together to help end this deadly disease. Together, we can make a difference.
Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Colon Cancer Coalition works to make colorectal cancer screening a lifelong health practice available to all saving lives and preventing families from experiencing this devastating loss.
Mama Fletch’s Flock was created in honor of Lara Fletcher, who was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer on April 6, 2023. Other than being tired and anemic, she had no idea that anything so serious was wrong. Lara’s journey was marked with incredible strength, faith, and grace, supported by God, modern medicine, devoted physicians, and an unwavering circle of family and friends. She passed away on July 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and community.
We run and fundraise in Lara’s memory to honor her life, to raise awareness, and to help ensure more people are screened earlier so lives can be saved.
Please consider supporting Mama Fletch’s Flock by donating and sharing our page. Your support directly helps those impacted by colon cancer and brings us one step closer to a future where fewer families have to say goodbye too soon.
Thank you for being part of the Flock and for carrying Lara’s legacy forward. 💙
