We are thrilled to have Team Crump WBTV back at Get Your Rear In Gear for a second year!

Steve Crump was a great journalist and a wonderful man. He worked at WBTV for decades and covered some of the biggest stories in the Carolinas and around the world. Steve was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 and fought hard for five years. Sadly, in August of 2023 his battle came to an end. Even in the midst of his fight, Steve was intent on educating others about the importance of getting screened for colon cancer. 

Last year we created this team to honor Steve and continue his mission to educate other people about the importance of getting screened for colorectal cancer. We were thrilled to have more than 80 people join the squad!

Help us once again as we raise money for prevention, research, and education.
