Welcome to my fundraising page - where I'm 'getting my rear in gear' to support local efforts to combat colorectal cancer!
As most of you know I was diagnosed with stage 3c Colon Cancer Dec 2020 and had colon resection surgery and 6 months of chemo. I stayed active through chemo and continue to do so with squash/hiking/pickleball. The last few years have been a journey for sure but keep moving in the right direction. Cancer is behind us but raising awareness isn't. As a family and as a community, we would love your support in raising funds and encouraging people to pledge to screen. As of today( January 2026) did you know that Colorectal cancer is the leading reason for cancer deaths in the US for ages 20-49? We have chosen to fundraise for this incredible event because even though it's awkward to talk about your colon, cancer doesn't stop and doesn't discriminate.
