Team Sonny's Squad gets their rears in gear in memory of my dad. Four years ago this month John Anthony Ferachi aka: Sonny lost his battle with multiple cancers that all started with colon cancer. We raise awareness so that others might not lose their loved ones too soon. This isn't the only reason we are doing this. I am a Lynch positive colon cancer survivor. My son and teammate is also Lynch positive. The possibility of my cancer returning and either of us developing the many cancers we are at risk of keeps us motivated to raise money to help develop new ways to detect and cure this disease.
